Announcing the Final Ranked List - 2010

Dear Candidates,

Greetings! So far you had been anxiously awaiting the final ranked list of probable candidates to be appointed in the R C school management as teachers. Now it is ready after exhausting all the possible processes to ensure objectivity and certainty.

Hence, the Board of Education is happy to publish the Final Ranked List, which shall be in force from 1st June 2010 to 31st March 2013.

Wishing the top rankers an early chance in the Management and others best of luck in other fields, competitive examinations and even the one to come after 3 years in the Archdiocese itself.

Now, it is time for the Final Rank List, before that you are given last and final chance to correct any factual error [factual error only], if at all there is any. And that has to be done not later than 5 pm on Saturday, 29th May 2010.

Dear Candidates,

Loving greetings!

You might have been eagerly waiting all these days for the Ranked List, though the results were published online at the announced date. When we were ready for the publication of the Ranked List on 12th March as announced, some of you had grievances to be addressed. In spite of the Board addressing them, few of you preferred appeals to the Grievance Cell. It had personal hearing of each of them besides other proceedings to make the List fool proof. Here we do appreciate your magnanimity in bearing with this unavoidable delay.

As it was envisaged in the No. 2009/139 Decree of the ‘Vidyaabyaasa Sushroosha Nayarekha’ in its para 10.7, a process of selection of candidates for appointment as teachers in our R.C Schools was initiated. Accordingly 873 appeared for written Examination out of 1012 applications issued. From those who appeared for the Exam, 788 only presented themselves for the interview and demonstration. All of them could not be ranked in the final list due to reasons so obvious in the ‘Nayarekha’.

With continued guidance from His Grace, our Archbishop, the timely assistance from the many who worked behind this cumbersome project, especially the Grievance Cell, we could proudly bring out this long awaited List.

1. This Ranked List is brought into force with effect from 01-06-2010 and shall remain valid till 31-03-2013.

2. Any vacancy in an uneconomic school (students strength below 100) shall be filled in by a government deployed protected teacher, provided there is no protected teacher in our management, unless and until the law provides otherwise.

3. Teachers appointed in the previous years against Parish or Diocesan claims, but not approved yet, shall have to be accommodated next.

4. B. Ed candidates shall be appointed against the subject in which a vacancy arises, if there aren’t any excess core – subject teachers.

5. The Congregations/Convents that were promised teaching posts in the terms and conditions of the contract they entered into with the concerned parishes/ Diocese shall be given priority when a vacancy arises.

6. In course of time, when some parish - managed schools join the R.C Schools, their due claim shall be settled with the candidates proposed by the concerned parish after a process similar to that of the diocese.

7. Possible postings in a year are some 10 or so. A realistic approach shall certainly make the candidates try elsewhere. The Board on its part shall only be happy to help you find placements, provided you are willing to do any job anywhere.

Keep up your spirits high till you realize your goal. Nothing is unsurmountable before a determined spirit. Wishing you all the best in your endeavours, I remain,
